Most grocery, retail and restaurant chains will remain open on New Year’s Eve, albeit with adjusted hours, and some will shut their doors on New Year’s Day.

When do Costco stores open and close on Dec. 31?
If you need to make a last-minute trip to pick up some party supplies, Costco will be an option for you this year, as the company’s warehouses will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.

Warehouses will be closed on Jan. 1, according to the company’s website.
