Indoor cricket facility 22Yards Austin to open in Leander
The 24,000-square-foot facility will feature two cricket fields, practice lanes, a pro shop and a mezzanine for hosting birthday parties and events. Cricket players can participate in leagues and tournaments as well as rent lanes to practice.
International cricket coaching company Super Kings Academy will provide training for ages 6-24.
Cricket is similar to baseball and is widely popular in Australia, owner Kalyan Jarajapu said. Jarajapu opened 22Yards Dallas in Lewisville in February.
