The 2024 ATP Tournaments have been announced, with Indian Wells, Qatar Open and Queen’s Club Championships chosen by the players to receive the prestigious honor.
This will be the 10th consecutive season that Indian Wells has been recognized as the ATP Masters 1000 of the season. A favorite among fans, the event is known for offering several practice courts that allow fans to watch players up close.
“We are honored that for a remarkable 10 years in a row, ATP players have voted Indian Wells as the premier 1000-level event on Tour,” said Tournament Director Tommy Haas. “This unprecedented achievement is a testament to the unwavering commitment to excellence of our tournament staff and volunteers, as well as the dedicated support of our owner Larry Ellison, our sponsors, our fans, and so many others who contribute to the success of our event.”
The Queen’s Club tournament was selected as the ATP 500 event of the season for the third straight year, and sixth year overall. The Qatar Open was chosen as the ATP 250 event of the year for the sixth time, winning it’s last award in 2022.
“We are very pleased to have been voted ATP 500 Tournament of the Year for the third successive year,” said Queen’s Club managing director Chris Pollard. “In 2024, we welcomed Jamie Murray as tournament director, whose knowledge of the ATP Tour helped further enhance the experience for players.
This award is recognition of the hard work that everyone delivering the tournament devotes to providing the highest quality player services, and the collaborative way in which the team works with the Queen’s Club, the ATP and all our sponsors and suppliers. We look forward to delivering new upgrades and innovations to the tournament in 2025.”
“We are delighted to have been awarded the title of the best tournament in the ATP 250 category for the sixth time,” said Qatar Open tournament director Karim Alami. “This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering a top-tier sporting experience for players and tennis fans alike.”
