The Indian men’s cricket team will take on arch-rivals Pakistan in its second Group A match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday.

The IND vs PAK Champions Trophy 2025 match is scheduled to start at 2:30 PM IST. Live streaming and live telecast will be available in India.

India and Pakistan have both won the Champions Trophy in the past. Pakistan are the defending champions after winning the previous edition of the tournament in 2017 while India have won it twice in 2002 and 2013.

The Men in Blue head into this fixture on the back of a six-wicket win over Bangladesh in their Group A opener.

Shubman Gill played a starring role for India against Bangladesh courtesy an unbeaten 101 while fast bowler Mohammed Shami picked up a fifer and finished with figures of 5/53 in the match.

Hosts Pakistan, on the other hand, will enter the contest after a 60-run loss against New Zealand in the first match of the tournament.

Khusdil Shah (69) and Babar Azam (64) made fifties for Pakistan against New Zealand in the match, which also saw them lose batter Fakhar Zaman to injury for the rest of the tournament.

Zaman, who scored 114 in Pakistan’s 180-run win over India in the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy final, has been sidelined due to an oblique injury. Imam-ul-Haq, a left-handed batter, has been announced as Zaman’s replacement.

One of the most heated rivalries in cricket, India and Pakistan have squared off 135 times in ODI cricket.

India have won 57 matches while Pakistan lead the IND vs PAK ODI head-to-head with 73 victories. Five matches between these teams have ended in no result.

India have won seven out of the last eight matches against Pakistan in the 50-over format. Incidentally, Pakistan’s last ODI win against India came in the 2017 Champions Trophy final.

At the Champions Trophy, India and Pakistan have faced each other five times. Pakistan hold an edge with a 3-2 record. Meanwhile in Dubai, the two rivals have met twice in the ODI format during the 2018 Asia Cup. India won the first match by eight wickets and followed it up with a nine-wicket victory.
