After leaking 15 runs in the first over, Varun Chakravarthy finally succeeded in getting his first international wicket after three years as Towhid Hridoy tried to go above the mid-wicket but caught Hardik Pandya in the middle.

Litton Das and Parvez Hossain Emon opened the batting for Bangladesh as Arshdeep Singh started with the first over for India. Das hit a boundary on the fourth delivery but Singh dismissed him on the next delivery to get India’s first breakthrough.

This is going to be the first T20I match on the newly made ground. The pitch looks good to bat on with a little bit of dry grass on it. Black soil is used for the strip and there will be no dew during the second inning as well. A batters’ paradise for sure but let’s see what India can take from their fierce fast bowlers while bowling first.
