OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Veteran safety DeShon Singleton will return to Lincoln, bolstering the Huskers secondary for 2025.
“I’m back,” read the graphic that Singleton posted on Instagram Friday night.
Singleton started all 13 games for Nebraska last season, amassing 71 tackles, three pass breakups, one interception and a fumble recovery.
The Greensburg, Louisiana native had used up his NCAA eligibility, until the NCAA Division I Board of Directors recently approved a blanket waiver that granted an additional year for ex-JUCO athletes. Singleton played one season at Hutchinson Community College (KS) before joining Nebraska.
