We all stayed up late and watched it happen, but do you have any idea WHAT you were watching Thursday night?

As Illinois beat No. 9 Oregon in Eugene, 109-77, did you know it was the biggest win EVER by a road team facing a top-10 opponent?

Don’t trust me, trust the stat expert.

The 32-point margin of victory is the largest ever by any team in a road game against an AP Top-10 opponent.

That’s wild!

He went on to point out it’s the second-most points ever by a visitor in regulation against a top-10 team. (If Boswell made a few layups, they probably get past 116).

The 109 points are the 2nd-most any team has ever scored in a regulation road game against a Top-10 opponent, trailing only Kansas State’s 116 at Texas in 2023.
