GREENSBORO, N.C. — On Monday, Greensboro Police teamed up with North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement, U.S. Homeland Security Investigations, and Mooresville Police for a home search on warrant at 4827 West Gate City Blvd.
Officials say the search was centered around a reported illegal sweepstakes gambling operation.
Authorities found several gaming machines inside the warehouse.
Mooresville Police arrested Daniel James Storie, 40, for felony gambling, misdemeanor possession of a slot machine, and misdemeanor manufacture of a slot machine.
Police say that Storie will also face charges of felony money laundering and felony continuing a criminal enterprise.
