CALDWELL, Idaho (CBS2) — The Idaho Department of Labor is set to host a job fair in Caldwell next week.
The Idaho Department of Labor is hoping to connect job seekers with several career opportunities in the area. The event will take place Thursday, Sept. 26. It will run from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Department of Labor’s Caldwell office located at 4514 Thomas Jefferson St. Free hamburgers and French fries will be offered to the first 100 attendees.
“This hiring event will offer Canyon County job seekers an opportunity to connect with employers across various industries,” Labor Economist Jan Roeser said.
There are currently 9,300 unique job postings in the area. Available job openings include everything from auto service technicians and correctional officers to concrete associates and fence installers, to teaching assistants and receptionists, among other jobs.
The event is free to attend. Job applicants are encouraged to bring a resume and be prepared to speak directly with company recruiters and human resource personnel.For more information, visit the IdahoWorks calendar.
