Nebraska football debuted a new look for their practice field. The new look includes red end zones, something that was noticeable to fans upon their debut during the baseball team’s annual fan fest.
Many fans all over social media have been clamoring for red end zones and now it looks like their dreams have come true, at least on the practice field.
This is just another change for the program, as Nebraska football appears to be on the upswing. They are entering year three under Matt Rhule and are coming off a bowl-game victory over the Boston College Eagles to end the 2024 season. The bowl game win also concluded the program’s first winning season since 2016.
One has to wonder if these changes will make their way over to Memorial Stadium any time soon. Testing the new end zone on the practice field first certainly seems like a logical idea.
