Defending champion Ugo Humbert returned to the finals of the Open 13 Provence in Marseille, France on Saturday, defeating Zizou Bergs 6-4, 6-4.
Needing one hour and 30 minutes to prevail, Humbert hit five aces, won 83 percent of his first serve points, and broke his Belgium opponent on two occasions.
Humbert, who is currently ranked No. 17 in the world, will next face either top seed Daniil Medvedev or Hamad Medjedovic in Sunday’s final.
Medvedev defeated Jan-Lennard Struff 6-3, 6-2 on Friday, and Medjedovic ousted Daniel Altmaier 7-5, 6-7(7), 6-4 to reach the final four. The Serb needed two hours and 42 minutes to advance.
Top seeded Medvedev has not won a tournament since claiming the Roma Masters title in 2023.

Saturday’s high-profile final at the Qatar TotalEnergies Open 2025 in Doha, Qatar saw hard-hitting American Amanda Anisimova capture her third career title, defeating former French Open winner Jelena Ostapenko 6-4, 6-3.
Needing one hour and 21 minutes to advance, the 23-year-old from Florida won 73 percent of her first serve points and broke her opponent on five occasions.
Anisimova, who defeated No. 9 seed Paula Badosa and Victoria Azarenka en-route to the finals, will move up to No. 18 in the world on Monday. A new career high.
Ostapenko, who was attempting to win her 11th career title, tied her head-to-head against Anisimova at 1-1. The Latvian will be ranked No. 26 in the world on Monday.
Ostapenko improved to 5-0 against world No. 2 Iga Swiatek with her semifinal victory.
