Horse Racing Radio Network, the award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, announced today that its popular weekly Trainer Talk show presented by Fasig-Tipton will be moving to a new day and time.
Beginning Friday, Feb. 28, the show will shift from its current Wednesday afternoon slot to Fridays from 5-6 p.m. ET. Each week, host Mike Penna spends a full hour visiting with trainers to discuss their careers, look back on some of their most notable horses and talk about their life away from the racetrack.
Retired trainer Tom Albertrani joins Penna this Friday to reflect upon his 20-year career.
“Trainer Talk debuted in September of 2012 and for the past 13 years has been an incredibly popular show on our HRRN platform,” said Penna. “The new time slot will provide our listeners a power packed schedule every Friday afternoon.”
Trainer Talk joins HRRN’s Betting with Bobby show hosted by track announcer Bobby Neuman, which airs Fridays from 4-5 p.m. eastern, and the AmWager Weekend Stakes Preview hosted by Neuman and analyst Bob Nastanovich from 6-7 p.m. eastern.
All HRRN shows can be heard throughout North America on Sirius 162/XM 207 with live streaming and podcasts made available on the network’s website and multiple podcast platforms.
A full schedule of all HRRN shows and additional affiliate information can be found on the network’s site.
