On Monday night, the new-look Golden State Warriors take on the Milwaukee Bucks in what should be an exciting NBA showdown.
Of course, most of the excitement surrounding this game will revolve around the Warriors’ big trade deadline addition, Jimmy Butler, who had a superb debut to his Golden State career on Saturday night when he went off for 25 points and four assists in just 29 minutes of action in a blowout win over the Chicago Bulls. When he’s motivated, there’s no doubt Butler, even at 35 years old, is one of the top players in the league. With Golden State sitting at 26-26 and 11th in the West, the Warriors are going to need playoff-level from Butler here on out.
How to Watch Golden State Warriors vs. Milwaukee Bucks:
The six-time All-Star likely has all the motivation he needs after the way his time with the Miami Heat ended, too, so Butler will almost certainly be appointment television for the rest of the season, including on Monday night against Milwaukee.
The Bucks, meanwhile, haven’t fared much better than Golden State so far in 2024-25, boasting a 27-23 record, good for just fifth in the Eastern Conference. On top of that, it was recently announced that former league MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo is set to miss some time due to a calf injury, so Bucks star guard Damian Lillard is going to need to step up in a big way over the coming contests to keep Milwaukee afloat in the Eastern Conference playoff race.
Tune in to NBA TV, NBC Sports Bay Area, or FanDuel Sports Network Wisconsin on Monday at 8:00 p.m. ET to catch what promises to be a thrilling NBA regular-season matchup between the Warriors and Bucks.
