These two squads have split the season series, with each team winning on the road. Dallas edged out a 120-114 victory on October 29, while Minnesota got revenge with a 105-99 win on Christmas Day. If the trend of road victories continues, the Timberwolves could have the edge—but anything can happen in a game like this.

The Timberwolves are coming off a 108-106 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday. While the loss stung, there were some bright spots—namely Anthony Edwards, who poured in 32 points, and Naz Reid, who exploded off the bench for 29. Minnesota is looking to snap a two-game losing streak and build some momentum.

Meanwhile, the Mavericks also stumbled Monday, losing 110-105 to the Charlotte Hornets. Despite a stellar 33-point effort from Kyrie Irving, the Mavs struggled mightily from beyond the arc, shooting an abysmal 18.8%. Daniel Gafford contributed 31 points, but Dallas couldn’t overcome its shooting woes as they look to turn things around tonight.
