Michigan State will play arguably its biggest home game of the season on Tuesday night in what should be a great matchup between the Spartans and Purdue Boilermakers.
Michigan State will host Purdue from the Breslin Center in a marquee matchup on Tuesday night. The Spartans and Boilermakers both desperately need a win in this game to keep up with Michigan in the Big Ten regular season title race.
Michigan State comes into this matchup off a huge win over Illinois on Saturday. Michigan State has been inconsistent as of late, but a win over the Boilermakers in this matchup would go a long way for their Big Ten title hopes. The Spartans are 20-5 overall and 11-3 in Big Ten play this year.
Purdue’s backs are against the wall coming into this matchup following another home loss this past weekend. The Boilermakers have lost two straight games and now sit at 19-7 overall and 11-4 in Big Ten play.
Here’s how to watch the Michigan State basketball game, including time, TV schedule and streaming information:
TV Channel: Peacock (streaming only)
Start time: 7 p.m. ET
Michigan State 79, Purdue 75: Purdue hasn’t lost three straight games since February 2020, but that’s what’s at stake for the Boilermakers on Tuesday night. That makes them even more dangerous, but I think the Spartans’ home crowd is the difference in this back-and-forth game that comes down to the final minutes.
ODDS: Michigan State minus-3.5
Over/Under: 148.5
