Jan Jensen’s Hawkeyes delivered in last week’s soft open, picking up a 110-55 exhibition win over Missouri Western. Five players reached double figures in the win. Meanwhile, Northern Illinois (1-0) already has a game and a win under its belt. The Huskies secured a 57-55 win over Louisiana-Lafayette on Monday afternoon. Northern Illinois was picked in a tie for sixth in the MAC preseason poll.
