Purdue has won eight of its past nine games, the two most recent of which came over ranked teams in No. 21 Michigan (91-64) and No. 13 Oregon (65-58), sandwiched around a 73-70 home loss to Ohio State. The Boilermakers remain in contention for the Big Ten regular season title, now sitting 1.5 games back of undefeated league leader Michigan State (9-0) with their 8-2 mark in Big Ten contests.

Indiana is flush in the middle of the Big Ten pack with a 5-5 record through 10 conference matchups, but the Hoosiers have dropped four of their past five going into Friday’s game at Purdue.
