With the release of the new v30.40 update, there have been multiple new additions to LEGO Fortnite in preparation for Chapter 5 Season 4. However, the highlight of the update is the addition of a bus station and the ability to fast travel to multiple locations on the map.
As the name suggests, the fast travel feature will allow players to travel from one place without traversing the map, adding more pace and fun to the game. Since the feature’s quite new, there are a few points to remember.
It is important to note that you cannot fast travel without a bus station. Bus stations, as mentioned before, are another addition to LEGO Fortnite. They essentially make fast travel possible.
Players can fast travel simply by interacting with a bus station
Bus stations are scattered at random locations throughout the map. So, finding them won’t be hard.
Furthermore, there’s an easy way to spot them since these structures are typically blue, resembling a square-like building with an extended base. You’ll also be able to spot a beacon on top of them that radiates a blue light once you’re close enough.
Apart from these characteristics, there’s also a unique sound that the Bus Stations emit once you’re nearby.
At present, there’s a bug being reported by multiple users of LEGO Fortnite which prevents them from spotting the bus station at various locations. Until the bug is fixed, there are limited places you can find them. The reported spots are near your spawn, the Rebel Base, or Star Wars Island.
Once you’ve spotted the bus station, you can now finally fast-travel to another Bus Station using the following steps:
After completing the above-mentioned steps, there’s a short waiting period after which players will hop onto the Battle Bus. From there, the mechanism is the same as a typical Battle Royale Bus: dropping off from the sky and gliding towards your preferred location.
