The 2024 WNBA season came to a close in late October last year when the New York Liberty polished off the Minnesota Lynx 67-62 in a decisive fifth game of the Finals.
A little less than three months later, the sport is back in full force.
Rather than wait for the 2025 season to begin in mid-May, women’s hoops fans can celebrate the best the game has to offer like Angel “305 Barbie” Reese, Breanna “Stewie” Stewart, Brittney “BG” Griner, Cameron Brink, Sabrina Ionescu (who signed a historic deal) and more in the 3-on-3 Unrivaled Basketball League.
For this inaugural campaign, there are six teams — the Laces, Lunar Owls, Mist, Phantom BC, Rose BC and Vinyl BC — made up of 36 players.
Regular season games will take place from Jan. 17 through March 10. The very short four-team postseason is set to go down March 16-17.
Thing is, it won’t be cheap to catch these three-on-three games live.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets for any two games (every ticket grants admission to a doubleheader) was $117 before fees on Vivid Seats.
All other two-part games have seats starting anywhere from $128 to $402 before fees.
