After trying their previous demo, I was totally sold on the golf-like 3D platformer House Hopper, and now it’s officially out.
Using a few different household objects, you throw yourself around various rooms in a house to gather up all the keys. The physics of it, and the shape of the items, makes it quite a challenging game and pretty funny to play through too. One that will test you but not overly frustrating, since the physics of it you can usually gauge how you will land…usually. Each room you flip and flop into gives its own set of unique challenges.
Check out the release trailer:
House Hopper is a game about falling, falling some more, bouncing off of everything and at times setting yourself on fire. It’s Golf but not the Golf you’re thinking of. A nice little break from all the survivor-likes that have been released recently, at least not every developer is doing one (even if I love them).
House Hopper has Native Linux support that appeared to work great. Worth a shot!
