The 3-year-olds dominated the headlines in 2024. Thorpedo Anna led the way with her victories in the Grade 1 Kentucky Oaks and the Breeders’ Cup Distaff. Sierra Leone ran in big races throughout the year ending with his Breeders’ Cup Classic victory. Fierceness fulfilled his promise with big wins at Saratoga that included the Travers (G1).
