It all starts with understanding the return policy.
You should also take your ID with you if you’re returning items to a store, as many retailers are requiring them to reduce fraud.
According to Happy Returns, 81% of retailers rolled out stricter return policies in 2023, including shipping fees, restocking fees and shorter return windows.
