The fall season of high school sports continues.
This week saw some incredible performances from a lot of Holland-area athletes in a lot of different sports.

Here is a little more about each candidate:
The Maroons top golfer shot a 94 in the first round of the state tournament and followed it up with a 100 to finish 52nd at the Division 3 state tournament.
The No. 4 singles player for the Panthers reached the state quarterfinals at the Division 1 tournament. He had a bye, before knocking off Ann Arbor Skyline.
The Maroons top runner won the OK Black Conference championship as an individual, finishing well ahead of the field, and led Holland Christian to the team title.
The Chix top runner continued her stellar season by winning the conference championship in the OK Black Conference as an individual, finishing well ahead of the pack. She also led the Chix to the team championship.
The Panthers senior stepped up and finished fourth at the OK Red Conference championships to help West Ottawa dominate its way to a sixth consecutive conference championship.
The senior slammed nine kills and totaled two blocks to lead the Hawkeyes to a sweep of Zeeland West in the OK Black.
