What to look for _ CAMBRIDGE: The Lancers, 4-6 last season, have fallen on hard times this year, having lost all seven of their games. Their last contest was on Oct. 4, a 27-16 loss to Seffner Christian. The team has scored 118 points in its seven losses, a product of a QB position that has seen six players attempt passes. The result has been 2 TDs and 13 INTs. Starting QB Cannon Farragut has thrown 1 TD and 6 INTs. Any offensive production has come from the running back spots. The Lancers have rushed the football 176 times for 890 yards and 9 TDs. RBs Nathaniel Lusk and Lucas Leiton have combined for 853 yards and 7 of the TDs. Cambridge holds a 2-1 all-time edge over the Falcons. In 2019, the teams’ last meeting, the Lancers won, 42-0. SAINT STEPHEN’S: After four losses, Chris Valcarcel got his first victory as Falcon head coach on Oct. 4 in a 43-0 blowout of Jordan Christian Prep. RB Cam Brewer ran for four TDs, and QB Harry Jones threw his first TD, finishing the game with two. On defense, Austin Varga, Jed MacArthur, and Jeremy Stroh led the unit’s shutout effort.

What to look for _ KESWICK: The Crusaders already equaled their victory output from last season, when they finished 6-4. They are outscoring their opponents by an average margin of 31-11. QB Landon Pauley-sherman is a double threat for Keswick. He has tossed 10 TDs and 3 INTs. But the junior also leads the Crusaders in rushing, with 340 yards and 5 TDs. Pauley-sherman’s favorite target is WR Grant Cole, who has caught 13 passes for 336 yards and 5 TDs. On defense, four different Crusader defenders have returned punts for scores. This will be the first meeting between the two teams. SARASOTA CHRISTIAN: The Blazers again climbed above the .500 mark on Oct. 4 with their 33-26 victory over winless Gateway Charter. In the win, QB Ben Milliken threw 3 TDs, giving him 23 on the season. WR Colton Loftus had 6 receptions for 97 yards and a score, while Justin Brock returned a kickoff 80 yards for a TD. On defense, DE Carson Spenn recorded 13 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and two blocked kicks.
