It’s Ventiquattro with the floater in the paint, Comets up 29-28.

NAC boys basketball Battle of Central unbeaten Canton and West Division unbeaten Lisbon.

In the second quarter, the weather changes and it begins raining threes. Caleb Ghize strikes from the top of the arc.

Aiden Richardson nails the three-ball.

Lucas Howie drains three. Canton goes ahead 20-10.

The Bears would go on to defeat Lisbon 66-40.

Women’s College hoops from JCC, the Cannoneers hosting Broome in Midstate Conference play.

1st quarter Kori Nichols drives the paint for the bucket. JCC up 4. Kori Nichols had 14.

Then it’s Lakaiya Butcher down low for 2. She led the Cannoneers with 15.

JCC running, Butcher splits the defenders for the basket. JCC by 9.

Nichols takes the feed and finishes.

JCC rolls past Broome 71-32.

In the late game, the JCC men entertain Broome.

1st half Owen Coall goes over the defender for the basket. JCC up 2.

Then it’s Jaydon Koiner with the 3 from the corner. Cannoneers in front 5.

Patrick Allieu takes the feed and kisses 2 off the glass. JCC up 7.

Cameron Ruiz gets the floater to fall.

Broome beats JCC 73-59.

NAC Division 1 Boys Hockey Unbeaten Canton traveling to Massena.

Drew Smutz gets the initial shot on the net, and Parker O’Neil finds a hole and stuffs the puck in. Massena takes a 1-0 lead.

Thomas Creurer gets a chance for the Bears, but Cullen Taraska makes the save for the Raiders.

In the second period, Jack Jarrett capitalizes on a loose puck in the crease and increases Massena’s lead to 2-0.

Less than 2 minutes later, Brady Frost lights the lamp on a slap shot from the top of the circle. 3-0 Raiders.

The Bears would rally back within two goals, but could not overcome a 4-0 deficit.

Massena wins 6-4.
