Heritage Golf Group announced that it has expanded into the state of Tennessee with the acquisition of The Club at Gettysvue in Knoxville. The club becomes the 38th in Heritage’s portfolio and increases its presence in the Southeast U.S.
The Club at Gettysvue features an 18-hole par-72 championship golf course designed by Bland Pittman. It measures 6,540 yards across multiple changes in elevation and is integrated into the surrounding landscape of the Great Smoky Mountains. The property also features a two-tiered driving range with six target greens, a full short game area and a Trackman Golf Simulator facility, as well as instructional programs led by PGA-certified professionals and amenities such as a junior Olympic-size swimming pool, five tennis courts, three pickleball courts and a 24-hour fitness center. Members also have access to the 24,000-square-foot English-style clubhouse with three private dining rooms, a casual bar and grill, men’s and women’s locker rooms and a full-service golf shop.
“We are thrilled to enter the Knoxville market and expand our footprint in the Southeast with The Club at Gettysvue,” said Eric Boberg, senior vice president of operations for Heritage Golf Group. “This acquisition adds a unique club to our evolving portfolio, and we look forward to building upon Gettysvue’s reputation as a premier private club in Knoxville.”
