HCL are looking to recruit a county coach for their National Counties Cricket Association first and development sides.
The application form states: “The NCCA Coach for Herefordshire will focus on managing and improving all aspects of Herefordshire NCCA Cricket, and ensure that the best opportunities are available to produce the highest level of cricketer in Herefordshire that we can. As the Lead Coach, you will be the primary coach and leader responsible for overseeing the 1st XI team, and the Development XI team.
“You will play a pivotal role in the development and performance of cricket within the county and contribute to the growing profile of the sport across the UK.”
HCL are looking to recruit a ‘highly motivated’ Cricket Performance Manager to develop and implement a comprehensive training and match programme for representative cricket in Herefordshire.
The application form states: “The Cricket Performance Manager will have overarching responsibility for the boys Emerging Player Programme (EPP), will be the head coach of the boys under-18s team, and will be responsible for the whole of the county player pathway for boys from under-11s upwards.
HCL are also looking to appoint a Cricket Development Officer for the girls’ and women’s teams.
The chosen applicant will be responsible for ‘driving and growing’ opportunities for women and girls to participate in cricket.

“Do you want to inspire girls and women to get involved and help to make cricket more accessible within Herefordshire?
“We are looking for a Women and Girls’ Development Officer to drive participation in the game from schools into the club network, grow the number of female volunteers within the game and create opportunities for girls to play cricket across Herefordshire in a safe enjoyable environment.
“Develop the cricket club’s environment to grow and sustain female participation. Increase participation through ECB National programmes (All Stars and Dynamos) Chance to Shine and ECB Competitions.”
