Doha, Qatar: HEC Paris in Qatar is thrilled to announce that an Executive MBA graduate from its Doha campus has been honoured with the leading business school’s most prestigious prize – the Prix de la Fondation HEC. This award recognises individuals who make significant contributions to management science.
The prize was awarded to Sanjay Chowdhary for his business capstone project, ‘The Edmission’, which explores a digital platform that assists international students studying abroad with various issues they may face.
The capstone project is the final deliverable of the EMBA programme, allowing participants to either focus on a strategic project for their organisation or a new business venture. This project is particularly valuable due to its practical application and implementation in companies, leading to cost savings, innovation, and the development of new products and services.
“We are extremely proud of Sanjay’s work and send him our heartiest congratulations. We believe this project will be relevant to students worldwide and particularly to Qatar, which is now home to many international students,” said Dr. Pablo Martin de Holan, Dean of HEC Paris in Qatar. “Sanjay’s success exemplifies HEC Paris’s commitment to nurturing leaders who drive positive change and highlights the cutting-edge excellence of our school’s research at all levels.” “It was an incredible honour to be acknowledged in this manner among such esteemed peers,” said Sanjay.
“This achievement is not just a personal victory, but a testament to the unwavering support and encouragement I received from everyone at HEC Paris, for which I am extremely grateful.”
The HEC Foundation awards prizes annually to recognise the best work of HEC Paris students. Ten juries select the authors of theses, dissertations, or projects that are judged to have made the best contributions to management sciences and demonstrated the most advanced thinking to drive action and innovation in the economic landscape.
