CHICAGO (Oct. 24, 2024) – HBO Sports Documentaries and Park Stories in association with the U.S. Soccer Federation and the US National Soccer Team Players Association are currently in production on a multi-part documentary series chronicling the United States Men’s National Soccer Team (USMNT) in the leadup to the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The series will air on HBO and will be available to stream on Max in 2026.
The untitled series will provide an unprecedented look into the U.S. Men’s National Team, following them over four years as they prepare for the largest sporting event of all-time. After an impressive performance at the 2022 Men’s World Cup in Qatar, the team, led by renowned manager Mauricio Pochettino, will play on home soil during the 2026 World Cup, hosted jointly by the United States, Mexico, and Canada. This historic event will be the first FIFA World Cup to feature 48 teams with matches spanning 16 venues in North America.
