Hawk Watch: Herald UND football beat writer Tom Miller dives in to 2026 recruiting class
GRAND FORKS — A new era kicks off this spring for the UND football program, and the Grand Forks Herald will kick off a new approach to covering Fighting Hawks football recruiting.
Hawk Watch is a new video series, with Herald UND football beat reporter Tom Miller interviewing the top recruiting targets of the 2026 recruiting class for new UND head coach Eric Schmidt and his staff.
The first round of recruits in Episode 1 are Aiden Wunderlich of Casselton, N.D., Bradley Esser of Harrisburg, S.D., and Kye Schlichting of West Fargo Sheyenne.
Miller has covered UND football in some capacity for the last 21 years.
