Hanna Cavinder is looking forward to boyfriend Carson Beck‘s next chapter.
Shortly after the Georgia quarterback declared for the 2025 NFL Draft on Saturday, the Miami Hurricanes guard and social media sensation celebrated the decision on Instagram.
“Proud of you,” Cavinder, 23, commented on Beck’s post, where he shared the news.
Beck spent the past five seasons with the Bulldogs and is a two-time national champion.
The 22-year-old quarterback became Georgia’s full-time starter in 2023, throwing 3,941 yards along with 24 touchdowns and six interceptions.
Beck’s production dipped this year as he recorded 3,485 total yards and tossed 28 touchdowns against 12 interceptions.
His final season with the Bulldogs ended on a heart-wrenching note earlier this month when he sustained an elbow injury in Georgia’s SEC Championship win over Texas.
Beck underwent surgery and will now miss the College Football Playoff as he begins his recovery.
“First off I want to thank God, for blessing me with the opportunity to play the game I love,” Beck began in Saturday’s post. “Through the ups and downs, the highs and lows, everything that this game produces and provides i’m eternally grateful for. Football has taught me lessons that will last a lifetime and has grown me into the person I am today.”
Beck went on to thank his coaches, teammates and loved ones as he continued to reflect on his collegiate career.
“The past five years at the University of Georgia have been nothing short of a dream come true and I will forever cherish the memories that have been made. Thank you Dawg Nation for the time i’ve been here and to those who’ve supported and believed in me, thank you. It’s been an incredible journey and all these moments have ultimately led me to take the next step in my football career,” he concluded.
Beck confirmed his relationship with Cavinder this past summer.
“A lot has changed since 2021,” he said in an interview with ESPN that was published in August. “You know, I’ve been through a lot, personally and through football. Sitting and waiting and not playing, and then getting last season to be able to start. Looking back today and being where I’m at now, I’m very appreciative and very thankful of the position that I’m in.”
As Beck looks to pivot to the pros, Cavinder is back at school.
She and twin sister Haley Cavinder are playing for the Hurricanes once again following an Elite Eight run in the 2023 NCAA Tournament.
Cavinder announced her return to Miami in April after missing the past season.
“When I made the decision to stop playing, I was excited to get more involved in the businesses and brands we are part of,” she told The Post in July. “But watching Haley train and get ready for the season made me realize that I wasn’t ready to stop playing. I love basketball and I know I won’t be able to play it forever. Being with my sister is the perfect way to finish out my career.”
