The Embassy of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana in the State of Qatar participated in the third edition Qatar Travel Mart 2024.
With over 60 countries and three hundred exhibitors participating in the 3-day event, the Embassy of Guyana held its own attracting visitors from all walks of life.
The Qatari visitors were very intrigued by Guyana’s flora and fauna particularly the Kaieteur Falls and the macaw.
Ambassador of Guyana to Qatar H.E. Safraaz Ahmad Shadood, stated that this is one of Qatar’s premier tourism events and it provides an opportunity for Guyana to enhance its visibility on a global stage and promote its tourism product, while strengthening diplomatic and cultural ties.
The Ambassador thanked the staff of the Embassy and the Guyana Tourism Authority in making the Embassy’s participation a resounding success.
