On Saturday, October 5, GRIT 920 Vice President and Co-Chair Mike Schmidt will participate in the NEW Dancing with the Stars in honor of GRIT 920.
“I have been supporting GRIT920 through my position at BayCare Clinic, serving as Vice President for the last year,” Mike Schmidt said. “Not only am I dancing for the kids and young adults involved in the program, but I am dancing to honor my daughter, Ava Rae, who passed away on December 21, 2022, at the age of 14 due to sudden and severe complications from the flu and strep. Dance was a HUGE part of her life for more than ten years. Her studio, Forever Dance Company, was her second family and I know she will be with me throughout this journey.”
Donations made toward Schmidt’s dancing competition will go directly to GRIT 920. Click HERE for more information.
