NEENAH – Bay Port won the team title with 381 points and had two first-place finishes in events.
Carter Tebon took first in the 100-yard freestyle in 47.15 seconds. The Pirates also took first in the 400 freestyle in 3:14.94 with the team of Luka Azzolina, Griffin Schilz, Andy Barden, and Tebon.
Neenah got two first-place finishes from Drew Gaerthofner. He won the 50 freestyle in 20.86 seconds and the 100 breaststroke in 55.95 seconds. The Rockets also won the 200 medley relay in a sectional-record time of 1:34.88 with the team of Gaerthofner, Tanner Trustem, Julian Kuehn and Burke Wendell, and won the 200 freestyle relay in 1:26.76 with Kuehn, Trustem, Wendell and Gaerthofner.
Tyler Van Gompel of Valley Swim Team took first in the 200 individual medley in 1:54.38. Ethan Pasholk of Valley Swim Team won the 100 backstroke in 53.10 seconds.
Winners of each event automatically qualify for the state tournament, which is Feb. 22 at Waukesha South High School.
