LANSING, Mich. (WILX) -Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer has announced two expansion projects in Eaton and Kent Counties that will create 155 new jobs along with a 16.5 million in Capital Investment.
Matrix Consulting Engineers is expanding their mechanical and electrical operations in Delta Township through the acquisition and renovation of a facility there. That venture will bring 55 new jobs to the area. HexArmor is expanding their the Grand Rapids headquarters to triple the company’s holding and processing capabilities and create 100 new jobs.
Whitmer said in a statement that the announcement by Matrix Consulting Engineers and HexArmor are a direct result of Team Michigan’s relentless pursuit of the Make it in Michigan economic development strategy.
