Hideki Matsuyama, fresh off winning a bronze medal in at the Paris Olympics, was robbed at a London airport.

According to Golf Digest, the 2021 Masters champion had his wallet and the passports of his caddie, Shota Hayato, and coach, Mikihito Kuromiya, taken in the incident. Fortunately, it appears his bronze medal is safe.

The wallet and documents can be replaced, but the incident presents a logistical challenge for Matsuyama since both men had o return to Japan to request expedited travel documents instead of going to Memphis for the Fedex St. Jude Championship, the first leg of the PGA’s FedEx Cup Playoffs.

The earliest they could make it to the U.S. would be just ahead of the Tour Championship in two weeks, according to Golf Digest.

“There’s a chance they’ll make it, but we have to go into it thinking it’s close to zero,” Matsuyama told the publication. “I’m going to play golf as if I went back to the way I was before I had a coach. I feel like all the responsibility is on me.”

Taiga Tabuchi, who caddies for fellow Japanese tour pro Ryo Hisatsune, will be on the bag for Matsuyama.

Matsuyama enters the PGA Tour’s postseason at No. 8 in the points standings, which means he’s in great shape to be among the top 30 to advance to the Tour Championship in Atlanta at the end of the month.

His single win this season came back in February at the Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club.
