Play more, think less. Stick to the basics, grip, stance, and good balance.
Many golfers would play better if they didn’t try so hard to perfect their swing. Golf is a game of good misses, not perfection. Sometimes, professionals win tournaments when they miss the ball at a crucial time.
A golfer was being interviewed after winning a major tournament. The announcer told the winner,” That was a gutsy shot you made on eighteen, considering the pin location.” The winner replied,” I was aiming to the safe side of the green and missed the ball; it just happened to land next to the pin.”
Missing a ball does not mean winning tournaments; good misses will keep you in contention. The point is, don’t over-perfect your swing. There comes a time when a golfer must trust their swing and take time to enjoy this great game called golf.
