power and
stability.
The right leg should resist the coil of the upper body. It’s that resistance that creates energy to propel the golf ball. Push the right knee toward the left leg on the backswing, toward the right leg, if you’re a lefthand golfer.
The weight should remain on the back foot’s instep, maintaining the brace on which to swing. You should feel pressure inside the back leg muscles and instep if done correctly.
The resistance between the upper and lower body also gives you the feel of other athletic moves, such as baseball or tennis. Installing resistance between the upper and lower body will help you to enjoy this great game called golf.
