EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – Following back-to-back tournament wins to open the season, SIUE golf is back on the course for the challenging Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational hosted by Air Force beginning Saturday.
The Cougars enjoyed their best finish at the tournament last year, taking home fifth place.
The tournament takes place on the Blue Course at the Eisenhower Golf Club. The course is a par 72 and plays at 7,541 yards.
This year, SIUE is part of a 22-team field which also includes host Air Force, Colorado State, CSU Northridge, Denver, Gonzaga, Holy Cross, Incarnate Word, Missouri State, Northern Colorado, San Jose State, Southern Utah, Tarleton State, UC Davis, UC Riverside, UC San Diego, UC Santa Barbara, Utah State, Utah Tech, Weber State, Wofford, Wyoming.
Teams will play a single round each day. Tee times begin at 8:30 a.m. MT Saturday and Sunday. Monday’s final round is set to tee off at 7:30 a.m. MT.
