KINGSTON, N.Y. — The team of Joe Redmond and Adam Geyer parred Wiltwyck Golf Club’s 18th hole in a sudden-death playoff in the shootout to capture the club’s Member-Guest title on Sunday, July 21.
Redmond and Geyer defeated the runner-up team of Matthew Conte and Yon Beckers, who bogeyed the par-4 18th after qualifying for the shootout as a wild-card entry.
The shootout took place to complete the tournament following the crowning of 10 flight winners.
Flight 1 winners were Padraic Bradley and Tim Ferraro, followed by the runner-up team of Conte and Beckers, with Brandon Kraft and Chris Pena finishing in third.
Flight 2 winners were Dave Tucker and Sean Tucker, followed by Mike Brabham and Brian Williams in second, and David Smith and Charles Mataraza in third place.
Flight 3 winners were Redmond and Geyer, followed by the runner-up team of Nick Freese and Nick Frangis, and the third-place duo of Anthony Barone and Justin Oelgeschaler.
In Flight 4, John Longman and David Gil were the winners, followed by a tie for second between the teams of Jim Malcolm and Dave Gerspach, and Michael Horodyski and Matt Crawford.
In Flight 5, the champions were David Wrolson and Daren Dix, followed by Mike Beck Jr. and Thomas Ingoglia in second, and third-place finishers Bill Collins and James Davenport.
In Flight 6, Ricky Negron and Trevor Bailey took first, followed by Trevor Delcotto and Brian Pece in second, and Paul Casciaro and Jim Whitaker in third.
In Flight 7, Mike Lawrence and Dave Lawrence were the winners, followed in second place by Casey Kelly and Sam Rosenberg, and the third-place team of Ed Peterson and John Finley.
In Flight 8, James Murphy and Todd Meisner took first place, followed by Tim Ryan and Mike Beers in second, with Scott Kuster and Paul Zweifel in third place.
