Jim Doyle of Mount Pleasant won a three-hole sudden death playoff to claim the Legends Division (players 70 and older) in the South Carolina Golf Association‘s Harry Wilson Super Senior Championship played Oct. 22-23 at Florence Country Club.
Doyle and John Long of Murrells Inlet tied in regulation with scores of 143. Mike Weiner of Kiawah Island finished fourth in the Legends Division with a score of 147.
James Cillo of Aiken 68-75—143 and won Championship Division (age 65-69).
Jamen Sanders of Goose Creek tied for second in the Cheraw Fall Challenge, a South Carolina Junior Golf Association event played Nov. 2-3 at Cheraw State Park. Sanders posted a 71-69—140. Casey Koeney of Spartanburg won the event, shooting 69-69—138.
Robert Lutomski of Simpsonville shot 34-34-32—100 to win the inaugural South Carolina Golf Association Par 3 Championship played Nov. 1-2 at at 3s Greenville Golf and Grub House.
