OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) – An elderly pedestrian was killed in Ocala when a golf cart crashed into him on Wednesday morning near the On Top of the World community.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers say a 93-year-old woman from Ocala was driving a golf cart on the eastbound path on Southwest 94th Street around 6:30 a.m.
The cart crashed into the back of an 84-year-old man from Ocala. He died at the scene.
