The MSU Madness tradition marking the official start of Spartan basketball continued on Friday night, although this year’s event was done well before midnight.
To limit a conflict with the MSU football team, which had a game time of 9 p.m. Friday against Oregon, the Madness started at 6 p.m. at Breslin Center.
