Get ready to lace up the family’s running shoes as Glenview Sunrise Rotary Club proudly announces the Family Fitness Fun Fest. On Saturday Oct. 5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the community will gather for this highly anticipated inaugural event at the Northeastern Illinois Public Safety Training Academy (NIPSTA), 2300 Patriot Blvd., Glenview.
The Family Fitness Fun Fest is a lively health and fitness gathering for parents and kids ages 6-12. Sports such as karate, rope climbing, an obstacle course, boxing and more, will be offered. Kids can try their skills, make friends, learn teamwork and win prizes. Health related companies from the community will be on hand to provide information. The fest is a celebratory community event for all abilities, from beginners to champions.
