Columbia Central High School golfer Logan Bentley has finished second twice in the state in Division 4 tournament. She is one of the top five golfers in average and the Golden Eagles are a top five team in Division 4.
Believe it or not, Michigan High School Athletic Association playoffs start next week.
Girls golf regionals will be held starting Tuesday, Oct. 8, for local teams.
The regional with the most local teams is the Division 4 regional tournament at Cascades Golf Course. The 18-hole tournament is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. on Oct. 8.
Western High School will also host a Division 3 regional tournament at Arbor Hills Golf Club.
The top three teams and top three individual golfers – not on qualifying teams – qualify for the various state tournaments in four divisions to be held Oct. 18 and 19.
