As 400 Grangemouth workers face losing their jobs, Scottish government Energy Secretary Gillian Martin has said she is confident they will find other work.
The Aberdeenshire East MSP told BBC Scotland’s The Sunday Show that saving workers’ jobs will be “a matter for commercial companies coming into the area”.
“I would imagine there’s quite a lot of companies looking at the skills layout of that workforce and making offers to those people that they need,
“I am confident that those highly-skilled people with find other work,” she added.
