Gilas Pilipinas is joining the 2nd Doha International Cup as part of its preparations for the February window of the FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers and the FIBA Asia Cup in August.
The team in Doha is composed of June Mar Fajardo, Justin Brownlee, Chris Newsome, Calvin Oftana, CJ Perez, Dwight Ramos, Carl Tamayo, Scottie Thompson, Mason Amos, and Kevin Quiambao. Also in the squad are AJ Edu and Jamie Malonzo, who head coach Tim Cone hopes to reintegrate with the system, and national team returnee Troy Rosario who has been tapped with Kai Sotto out due to an ACL injury. Japeth Aguilar is not in Doha due to personal matters.

February 15, 1:30 a.m. (PHL time) – Gilas Pilipinas 74 – 71 Qatar
February 15, 11 p.m. (PHL time) – Gilas Pilipinas vs Lebanon
February 17, 1:30 am (PHL time) – Gilas Pilipinas vs Egypt
Gilas will take on Chinese Taipei in the third window of the FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers on February 20 and New Zealand on February 23.
