WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women’s golf team heads to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware for the Blue Hen Invitational on Saturday and Sunday, October 19-20. The 11-team field will again feature a pair of BIG EAST opponents in St. John’s and Seton Hall as the teams play the par-72, 6,169-yard course at Rehoboth Beach Country Club. This tournament will close out the fall slate for the Blue & Gray.

ABOUT THE HOYAS
- In the last outing at the Princeton Invitational, Megan Gormley was the second Hoya on the leaderboard as she finished 10th at 8-over 221 (75-72-74). Gormley was able to record three birdies in the final round to go along with nine pars for a total of five birdies and 37 pars for the tournament.
- Georgia Ruffolo carded a 10-over 223 (76-74-73) to finish 13th overall at Princeton. Ruffolo tallied a pair of birdies and 12 pars in the final round for a tournament total of six birdies and 32 pars.
- Charlotte Hillary turned in the best round for a Hoya from the tournament with a 1-under 70 to finish the tournament at 5-over 218 (77-71-70) to tie for fifth place. Hillary’s round included five birdies, including back-to-back birdies to close the round on 17 and 18. She totaled nine birdies for the tournament to go along with 32 pars for the tournament, including nine on Sunday.
- At 18-over 231 (79-75-77), Gabriella Eifrig tied for 30th overall at the Springdale Golf Course. She recorded one birdie and 11 pars in the final round for a three-round total of seven birdies and 25 pars.
- In her last outing when the Hoyas competed at the Cavalier Regional Preview, Catherine Qiu tied for 68th place after carding a 33-over 246 (82-78-86). Her final round saw the freshman tally nine pars. Over two days, she managed 31 pars.
- In her GU debut, Olivia Ty closed the Princeton Invitational at 34-over 244 (80-85-82) to finish tied for 64th. Ty recorded three birdies on the day and added six pars. She closed the two-day stint with nine birdies and 17 pars total.
- Tina Tang, also making her Hoya debut at Princeton, finished 66th after carding a 35-over 248 (83-81-84). The sophomore managed seven pars on the day for a three-round total of 21 for the tournament to go along with four birdies.
HOYAS X THE LADY BLUE HEN INVITATIONAL
- The Blue & Gray closes the fall season with an appearance at the Blue Hen Invitational following a two-year absence.
- In its last outing at the Blue Hen Invitational in 2021, Georgetown finished fifth overall with Lauren May carding a squad-best 7-over 223 (73-74-76).
