HANNIBAL (WGEM) – A manufacturer is investing $58 million to expand its facility.
General Mills representatives announced on Wednesday a groundbreaking that will happen on Nov. 20. The plant’s manager Tim Johnson said the investment will add close to 40 good-paying jobs.
“[Hannibal] is a strategic location for General Mills,” Johnson said. “We’ve continued to partner with both local and state government to work on incentives to grow our business.”
Johnson said construction could take anywhere from 12 – 18 months.
