LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference has named Gannon senior Ditte Petersen (Dianalund, Denmark/Sorø Akademi Skole) the PSAC Women’s Golf Athlete of the Week.
Petersen placed third in the two-day ODU Champions of Women’s Golf Fall Classic while helping Gannon to a fourth-place finish among 15 teams.
Petersen opened the tournament with a 3-over-par 73 on Monday at the Champions Golf Course in Columbus, Ohio, to move into fourth place.
She followed that with a 4-over 74 on Tuesday as she placed third among 100 golfers in the field.
Petersen is the two-time defending champion at the PSAC Championships and the two-time PSAC Women’s Golf Athlete of the Year.
